SEAN FAGAN

Producer/Director

Originally from Ireland, Sean graduated from the Royal Irish Academy of Music with a Musical Theatre Voice degree. Recently, Sean made his professional debut at the Brisbane Powerhouse as musical director for the Australian Premiere of Daddy Long Legs (Passion Productions). He was also recently Musical Director for Ladies in Black (Villanova Players).

Since moving to Australia, Sean has been involved in many shows, including being Musical Director for Murder at the Bodega (Murder We Wrote, 2019), Victor Victoria (Beenleigh Theatre Group Inc, 2019), and High Society (Villanova Players Theatre Company, 2019). He was also Musical Director for Prima Org’s 2000s Theatre Restaurant Show for which he was nominated Best Musical Director for the Gold Coast Palm Awards 2018.

LYNETTE WOCKNER

Choreographer

Lynette has been involved with theatre for many years either on stage or as a choreographer for various theatre companies in and around Brisbane. She has appeared on stage at Sunnybank Theatre in Avenue Q and The Wedding Singer and for the Villanova Players, High Society. Lynette was a Highland Dancer, teacher and adjudicator and has also done jazz, tap and ballroom.

Previously she has choreographed The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Shout and Victor/Victoria for Beenleigh Theatre Group and Ladies in Black for Villanova Players. Lynette also choreographed Dinner in Transylvania and Forbidden Broadway for Casa Mia Productions.

ABOUT THE CAST

FIONA BUCHANAN

Fiona has performed in productions across The UK, New Zealand and Australia including Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Full Monty, Sweeney Todd, The Music Man, Cinderella and Witches of Eastwick.
Fiona’s most memorable roles to date are Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers, Agatha Makin in the Queensland premiere of The Hatpin, the hilarious Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein and Anna in the Australian premiere of House of Mirrors and Hearts.
This is Fiona’s first performance with Anam Cara Productions, and she looks forward to bringing some joy this Christmas as we come to the end of 2020.

JESSICA HAM

An experienced singer and actress, with a background of almost fifteen years in theatre and some recent work in film and modelling. In 2019, Jessica performed in Brisbane Arts' Ladies In Black as Patty Williams and toured the Queensland One-Act Play festival with Downstage Theatre's Caught In The Act.
It was also the year she starred in her first feature film with Black Cat Film Production's Attack of the Cat People. Although 2020 has been a rather slow performance year for everyone, Jessica decided to begin honing some new skills in writing and workshopping her play, Playing Mum, and hopes to self-produce the play with her creative team in 2021.
Jessica is delighted to be treading the boards once again with Anam Cara Productions and cast and hopes this holiday season can bring a sense of renewed hope.

LAURA FOIS

Laura is a versatile singer with a particular passion for jazz and musical theatre.
In 2019 Laura performed in Spamalot as the Lady of the Lake and in Ladies in Black as Magda, both production with Brisbane Arts Theatre.
Her credits include Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde (Bunbury Musical Comedy Group, WA), Marianne Renate in Shout! The legend of the wild one (Beenleigh Theatre Group), Eudora Brice in The Witches of Eastwick (24 hrs Musical Project 2018), Angie in The Wedding Singer (Sunnybank Theatre Group), Dawn in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Beenleigh Theatre Group), The Wizard of Oz (Queensland Musical Theatre) and RENT with Beenleigh Theatre Group. The latter winner of the 2016 Gold Coast Theatre award for outstanding musical production.
She has also been performing as a feature soloist for Theatremakers and Mates Theatre society.
In 2020 she's taking on the screen, with the filming of the short "The Great Escape" (Italian Style) that is expected to be released at the end of the year.

MIA AMBROSI

Mia started her passion for Performing Arts at a young age. She started dancing at Conroy’s Dance Academy and Promenade Dance Studio. She trained in song and dance, ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary. Mia then found her love for Musical Theatre and hasn’t looked back since.
Mia was successfully chosen as an Aussie All Star from JTC, Newcastle which allowed Mia to travel to Junior Theatre Festival 2020, Atlanta, USA and perform 10 minute segment of Aladdin. All rehearsals were trained in New York, USA.
Mia was chosen from an online JTC 2019 competition which allowed Mia to sing a duet “A Whole New World” with Australian entertainer Rob Mills.
She also recorded “This Is Me” – 22q Charity Single with Sean Fagan and talented musicians.
Some of Mia’s acting and Creative Theatre Production credits include – Bring It, Mean it like Martin, 2 +2=2 with ASPAFTV and just last month for 2020 won Best Performance Solo Female Character monologue for Lucy in Viral – Beenleigh Theatre Group.
Mia is very excited to be part of Singing into Christmas and is looking forward to making new friends and doing what she loves.

MISHA JEAN

Misha showed an interest in singing and performing from an early age and first became involved in musical theatre through a Harvest Rain production of Peter Pan. She has also performed in key roles for two Sunnybank Youth Theatre productions, A Thousand Paper Cranes and extracts from the musical Cats. In 2019 Misha led a Calamvale Community College production of Beauty and the Beast, as Belle. This year the school was delighted to be able to bring Footloose into limited production, with Misha performing the role of Rusty. Misha has also featured in several school choirs including Calamvale's acapella group, the Harmonics. Although not able to go into production this year, Misha earned a place in the core choir for Queensland's Creative Generation. She is thrilled to be a part of Singing into Christmas with Anam Cara productions.

TAYLOR JAGGARD

Taylor started her performing arts journey from about the age of 8. Taylor has been with a couple of singing coach’s but most recently at the start of 2020 joined iPlay uPlay music with Sean Fagan as her vocal coach.
Taylor’s has performed at several events including:
Ipswich talent show
Springfield fair
Calamvale Spring fair
P&O Pacific Aria Cruise
and numerous school talent shows.
Taylor has recently performed in her school musicals/plays and has been in
Beauty and the Beast jnr- Mrs Potts
Footloose jnr- Cowgirl/Ensemble
Romeo and Juliet unhinged- The Nurse
Taylor also has done dance since she was very little and has learnt styles such as
jazz, funk,tap,hip hop and ballet.
This will be Taylor’s first performance with Anam Cara Productions and is looking forward to getting on stage again.

TRAVIS HOLMES

Travis has recently returned from London, where he studied at the London School of Musical Theatre, and began his career in theatre, performing in plays including Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s The Night Season where he played John, and A Midsummer Night's Dream as Lysander. He also played the role of Prince George in WHATSINANAME? Productions, production of Sleeping Beauty, as well as Bernie in Lend Me a Tenor at LSMT.
Travis also performed in many concerts and was fortunate enough to workshop a new musical A Trio of Four by Izzy Owen.
Before moving to London in 2018 Travis Studied a Bachelor of Music (Classical Voice) at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium. During his time at the Conservatorium, Travis performed in multiple solo recitals, as well as chamber choir and opera ensemble concerts.
Alongside his study, Travis pursued his love for musical theatre, performing in many productions all over southeast Queensland. Some highlights include: Enjorlas in Les Miserables, Eddie in Blood Brothers, Joseph in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, and Roger in Rent.
Travis is looking forward to spreading some Christmas joy with the cast and team at Anam Cara Productions!
